On July 29, 2025, the 2025 China Mongolia Cashmere Industry Conference was successfully held in Ningbo! This conference is hosted by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Livestock, and the Mongolian Cashmere and Wool Association. It is organized by the Consinee Group and co organized by the Zhejiang Woolen Textile Industry Association. It brings together more than 180 industry leaders, including government officials, association officials, and leaders of major cashmere enterprises from China and Mongolia. Through high-level and in-depth exchanges and dialogues, it plays a strong chapter in the coordinated development of the cashmere industry between China and Mongolia.

The meeting was presided over by Hu Jiandang, Secretary General of the Cashmere Branch of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal Husbandry. Cao Derong, President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal Husbandry, Tuya, General Manager of the Mongolian Cashmere and Wool Association, Jiang Qingyun, President of the Zhejiang Woolen Textile Industry Association, and Xue Jingli, Chairman and President of Consinee Group, were invited to deliver speeches.

In his speech, Xue Dong warmly welcomed the Mongolian guests and colleagues in the domestic cashmere industry who came from afar, emphasizing the deep cooperation foundation, broad development space, and strong complementarity between China and Mongolia in the cashmere industry. He pointed out that Consinee has been trying to pave the way for cooperation in Mongolia. On June 30, 2023, the then Prime Minister of Mongolia, Oyun Erdene, and his delegation visited Consinee, which also won more opportunities for cooperation in the development of the cashmere industry in Mongolia and even globally. As the organizer of this conference, Consinee will take this opportunity to actively promote exchanges and cooperation in the cashmere industry between China and Mongolia, jointly address industry challenges, and work together to create a new situation of mutual benefit and win-win.

During the meeting, Jin Guang, Technical Quality Director of Consinee Group, gave an in-depth sharing on the development and trends of Chinese cashmere spinning and fabrics. Zhao Xinhao, Vice President and Minister of Import Department of the group, presented the release and in-depth analysis of the "Import Mongolian Combed Cashmere Trading Guide". Some officials and representatives of the association and enterprises also made multidimensional keynote speeches.

The China Mongolia Cashmere Industry Roundtable held in the afternoon, representatives engaged in lively discussions on key issues, seeking practical and feasible cooperation plans, and had a lively atmosphere with ideological collisions on site. Xue Dong also shared his experience and insights during the enthusiastic questioning of the representatives. He said that we are facing many pressures, but Ningbo's port advantages provide great development opportunities and facilitate enterprises to enter the international market. In recent years, with the standardization of imported product labeling and the orderly implementation of many standards within the Chinese industry, the industry is bound to develop in a healthier direction. I hope all enterprises in the industry chain can work together, and I hope that industry associations in China and Mongolia can play a synergistic role and make greater contributions to the development of the international cashmere industry and fashion culture.

After the conference, a charming reception banquet was grandly opened, adding a significant touch to the in-depth exchange and cooperation of the cashmere industry between China and Mongolia. Xue Zhengli, Executive Vice President of Consinee Group, delivered a speech welcoming all guests and reviewing the close cooperation and brilliant achievements of China and Mongolia in the cashmere industry over the years. The cultural integration of program performances and the warm and enthusiastic lottery activities have brought China and Mongolia closer together through full exchanges.
